Role Title: International Shopper Marketing Manager 

Location: Bracknell (with flexible working)

Appointing Manager: Distributor Sales Director


This is a role for a self-starter with a sense of adventure and big ideas; someone who will thrive to make a material impact in a highly entrepreneurial, sleeves rolled-up culture, free from unnecessary policy and bureaucracy, but with the backing of a major global player


Primary Purpose of the Role:

  • As the International Shopper Marketing Manager, you would be initially responsible for ensuring the smooth handover of the Shopper Marketing plans from the parent company to the business with the focus then moving to landing market leading activation that drives a positive return on investment
  • The role will primarily support the business growth of our international customers outside of the UK and North America through impactful activation with a focus on:
    • Collaborating with the Marketing Team on category and insights to create market leading plans that drive conversion
    • Management of instore executions, deployment and post evaluation developing efficient & effective strategies
    • Enabling omni-channel activation with a seamless instore / online journey
  • A key part of this role is to help imbed the company culture within the commercial organisation


Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute best in class customer activation that can be implemented across multiple markets
  • Implementation of NPD within the international customers
  • Project lead customer led pack changes and innovation
  • Create solutions that drive Rate of Sale and Brand equity
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key customer contacts
  • Prioritisation and management of the Shopper Marketing budget
  • Input to project work where appropriate


    Key Tasks:


  • Setting and delivering the international Shopper Marketing Plans
  • Own the below the line Marketing activity
  • Travelling within the UK & ROI and potentially globally including some overnight stays

  • Allocation of the international Shopper Marketing budget
  • International customer activation
  • Development of the international Shopper Marketing strategy


    Performance Indicators Include:

  • Ensuring the smooth handover of the Shopper Marketing plans from parent company to the business
  • Enhanced RoS and brand equity
  • Improved return on investment
  • Business commercial performance



  • Strong Trade / Shopper Marketing experiencewith demonstrated success in a commercial sales environment
  • Track record of positive external customer interactions
  • Excellent oral / written communication and influencing skills with a proven ability to build collaborative partnerships
  • Effective listening skills, flexibility, a strong work ethic and the ability to think outside of the box
  • Displays sound business judgment, curiosity, attention to detail, learning agility and high energy levels
  • A comprehensive knowledge of the retail market
  • This role will suit someone with an Entrepreneurial spirit who is results focused that is not afraid of ambiguity
  • Experience in working with distributors is important 
  • Healthcare sales background experiences is a plus
