Main Purpose of Job:
Manage the international day to day supply chain function with day to day tasks in a fast moving, innovative, fun, office environment that maintains the highest levels of integrity.
1 Responsible for the management, processing and delivery of sales orders into International markets, to ensure stock gets to the right place on time.
2 Supporting Intercompany stock transfers between two companies.
3 Working closely with the International sales team to ensure all requirements in relation to supply, forecasting & logistics are communicated effectively and accurately.
4 Communicating with logistics partners, distribution depot and suppliers on a daily basis to ensure stock is delivered as expected, dealing with any problems that arise in a timely and effective manner.
5 Managing the accurate import of traceability data into Microsoft NAV, for both sales orders and purchase orders.
6 Working with the Supply Chain Manager to manage with the data input and maintenance of the company purchase forecast.
7 Accurately raising and amending purchase orders in line with new purchase requirements
8 Recording and working to improve all service levels associated with our International customers
9 Other ad hoc tasks, as required.
Key Technical Skills/Knowledge/Professional Qualifications Required:
1 Graduate level, numerate degree. With experience of working in International supply chain function.
2 Working knowledge of Excel, and general computer literacy across Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.
3 Experience using a general ledger system preferred, but not essential.
Key Personal Skills Required:
1 Be pro-active and have a can-do attitude in order to do work on all Supply chain topics as part of a small team.
2 Attention to detail essential. Must be conscientious about accuracy when dealing with precise information (dates, stock lines, customers, suppliers, prices, volumes etc.)
3 Able to form working relationships and develop a network inside and outside of the Company. Able to persuade (for example to accept stock, to make stock, prioritise stock picking and avoid fines).
4 Strong communicator, with the ability to handle complex information.
5 Able to organise themselves, develop new processes and work to real life stock related deadlines.
6 The ability to think differently, have fresh ideas, and bring a unique perspective in order to solve challenging and time sensitive problems as a part of a team.
