Nexus CIFS

Nova Search & Selection started out offering a recruitment service to the insurance market, both the Lloyd’s of London Market as well as across the UK.  We have had a particularly close working relationship with Nexus CIFS, one of the UK's leading trade credit underwriting agencies. They are a very professional team, and over the years we worked closely with their Client Services Director, Sue Morley.

Sue has since retired from Nexus CIFS, but during her tenure, we placed Mark Jones, Natalie Peltzer, Gavin Brown, Dan Ismail, Paul Spinks and Kerri Vernon. 6 key Underwriters. Only Natalie has left, moving to Paris, France, where her husband relocated his job.

We are proud of our ability to build such a positive client relationship, fully understanding the client’s needs and matching quality candidates to those needs in the very niche area of trade credit insurance. This is one of Nova Search & Selection’s key strengths, in that we listen to what the client wants and needs and do our utmost to fulfil those needs.

Kiddylicious

Nova Search & Selection has had a relationship with Kiddylicious (www.kiddylicious.com) since 2002. In 2009 the company moved from selling frozen baby food into kids snacks. By 2014 the company had grown internationally and recruitment demands increased. Nova Search placed key personnel within the company, including the Finance Director, Marketing Director, Global Marketing Director, National Account Managers, New Product Managers, Head of Logistics, in fact to date, Nova Search and Selection have placed over 70% of their workforce.

The company needed to improve its HR policies to reflect its growth and meet both legal requirements and employee expectations. Again, Nova Search was asked to help. In 2016 we relaunched all of their HR employment policies, including new job descriptions and Contracts of Employment, as well as developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for each individual role.

Nova Search has also assisted with creating and developing key people initiatives within the company through pay and reward schemes, both financial and non-financial. A regular bonus is paid to staff based on companywide achievements and in 2015 a scheme of share ownership came into existence for employees. There are regular one-to-one’s with each individual in the company and there is a buddy system so that everyone has someone they can ‘offload to’ or discuss any issues they may have.

We have enjoyed our association with the Kiddylicious team and look forward to continuing to work closely with them meeting HR and recruitment challenges along the way.
